When you choose Stjerne Camping as your vacation destination, you enter a true West Jutland family tradition. Here we don't just take nature seriously - we read it, live in it and look after it. The rugged dune landscape, the soft forest floor and the wild North Sea - everything that makes a vacation special!
Everyone is welcome here - two-legged, four-legged, old campers and newcomers. We have room for around 250 campers, some of whom have put down roots as permanent residents, while others are on the move with a caravan, motorhome or tent. Whether you like grass or prefer solid ground under your wheels, we'll find a pitch to suit you.
Whatcan you expect?
Gravel streets, pitches with either grass or gravel, bordered by cozy hedges. Plenty of space - about 10x10 meters per unit, with electricity of course (but you have to bring your own water - blue dot on the site map). Sun and shade - some pitches offer a little shelter in the shade of the trees, but most have enough sun to fry a sausage (or yourself). Motorhome and caravan facilities right at the entrance - easy and convenient!
Facilitiesthat make camping life easier:
Family shower room, disabled-friendly shower, and even a baby changing room for the smallest campers. Always clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, because vacation and damp toilets don't belong together! So whether you dream of a cozy cabin near the beach, a simple tent life or a nice base for your caravan, we are ready to give you a holiday experience that is both relaxing, cozy and 100% West Jutlandic! Afew kind words about our rules
So that we can all enjoy camping in peace and quiet, we have some simple but important rules here at Stjerne Camping. They're not about making life difficult - quite the opposite! They just help us make sure the campsite stays cozy, clean and nice for everyone.
🔹 Night noise means night noise - the North Sea is noisy enough already, so we try to keep the volume down from 23:00.
🔹 Dogs are welcome! But remember, they need to be on a leash - not everyone is excited about a loving dog tongue in their morning coffee.
🔹 BBQs and bonfires are great - but safety first! Keep an eye out for fire hazards and only use in designated areas.
🔹 Cleanliness is a virtue! Put your trash in the right containers so we can keep the nature around us as beautiful as we found it.
🔹 Drive slowly on site - no rush, we're on vacation!

More than just sand between your toes!
Whenyou set foot on the soft, warm sandy beach at Vejers, you immediately feel that this place is something special. Here the wild, roaring North Sea waves meet the peaceful dunes and every day is a new experience.
Are you a true water dog? Then jump into the waves, feel the rush of the sea and maybe even take a dip if you dare! If you prefer to stay on land, go hunting for amber and beautiful seashells - maybe you'll find a treasure that the sea has washed up just for you?

Then an overnight stay at Stjernecamping in Vejers can also be combined with a visit to one of the area's many museums that tell the history of the West Coast, or a shopping trip in Varde or Esbjerg. Here you'll find everything from cozy specialty shops to second-hand gems, where you might make your next big find.
