Stjerne Camping's rental conditions

  1. The rental agreement applies only to the persons specified in the agreement. Children over the age of 18 are not automatically covered by the rental agreement. They may be included in the rental agreement for an agreed fixed additional amount. The caravan must not be older than 2003, and it is not possible to take over a caravan that is already on the site from before this year.
  2. It is not permitted to take up permanent residence at the campsite, nor is it permitted to register with the civil registry at the campsite. The campsite may be used for leisure, vacations, weekends, and holidays.
  3. If you need urgent assistance between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., call +4575277054, and the camp manager will provide guidance and, if necessary, remotely operate the incoming barrier.
  4. Please refer to the camping regulations, our general site rules, and price list, which are updated annually and as needed. Tenants are responsible for keeping themselves informed about the applicable rules. Tenants are required to keep the campsite informed of any changes to their address, email, phone number, etc.
  5. The landlord reserves the right to make changes to the current price list at any time. Any changes will be communicated via digital newsletter, notices at reception, and on the website.
  6. It is the tenant's own responsibility to sign up for the campsite's newsletter. This can be done at the reception desk or via the campsite's website www.stjernecamping.dk. Please note that newsletters may in some cases end up in your "spam" or junk mail folder.
  7. The rent for the seasonal pitch itself (including additional purchases such as dogs) must be paid no later than the first day of the season, in accordance with the current price list.
  8. Electric cars may not be charged using the power stations on the site. Such violations will incur a fee of at least DKK 1,000. Please use the charging stations in front of the reception.
  9. Electricity packages of 50 kWh or 100 kWh are purchased in advance. Excess electricity is not refunded. Our electronic electricity meters automatically record consumption. Electricity consumption can be monitored in the c-wallet app, where the tenant is responsible for purchasing new electricity packages in good time. Any extra meters are considered to be the tenant's own backup. (Cheating will result in immediate expulsion from the site.)
  10. Electricity connections are always the responsibility of the tenant. The campsite cannot be held responsible for any power outages or similar.
  11. If the payment terms are not complied with, the camp manager is entitled to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect, cf. sections 25–27.
  12. The landlord can terminate the rental agreement in the event of cooperation difficulties. If the lessee decides to move from the campsite before the agreed date, the lessee cannot claim any part of the rent back.
  13. The Renter is obliged to report both day guests and overnight guests upon their arrival. Overnight guests must pay the regular overnight fee.
  14. Day visitors are not allowed to drive onto the campsite, but must park outside in the parking lot. Day visitors who remain on the site after 11 p.m. are considered overnight guests and will be charged the standard overnight fee.
  15. Dogs are allowed on the campsite. A fee is payable according to the current price list. Dogs must always be kept on a leash and walked outside the campsite or in the designated dog walking area. Dog waste must be picked up.
  16. The containers provided may only be used for ordinary household waste. Food waste, paper/cardboard, food/drink cartons, mixed plastic, glass/bottles, metal cans, and residual waste must be sorted into the designated containers. Other waste (e.g., chairs, refrigerators, carpets, awnings, etc.) must be taken to the recycling center by the tenant. Batteries, small electrical appliances, etc. can be disposed of at the environmental station at the end of the parking lot by the supermarket. The container area is under video surveillance.
  17. During the rental period, the renter is entitled to use the seasonal pitch (in compliance with distance and location rules) for setting up a tent, caravan with awning, or (not) motorhome. Only one car may be parked on the seasonal pitch at a time. Trailers and similar items may only be brought and stored on the seasonal pitch for a limited period of time by prior agreement with the campsite manager.
  18. The rented space must be kept in a natural, neat, and tidy condition at all times. The tenant is responsible for mowing the lawn and trimming hedges. See sections 34-47.
  19. Shortcutting through vegetation and fences is not allowed; roads and paths must be used.
  20. Between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., all motorized traffic is prohibited on the campsite. Otherwise, a general speed limit of 15 km/h applies, and we ask that you refrain from unnecessary driving.
  21. The campsite's general rules and regulations must be observed. The rules and regulations are available at the campsite (and under the site rules on the website).
  22. If the caravan is not registered, it must be registered with the ID number scheme. This is done for a fee at the reception.
  23. The lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement with 3 months' notice. The tenant may (in connection with any work at the campsite) be required to move to another unit on the campsite. In such cases, the landlord will always try to give as much notice as possible.
  24. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the seasonal pitch must be cleared, cleaned, and maintained by the tenant on the date of expiry of the lease agreement. If the tenant fails to carry out the necessary work, the camp manager is entitled to have it done, for which the tenant will be charged a fixed minimum fee of DKK 600. If the maintenance work takes more than 1 hour, an additional DKK 600 will be charged for each hour or part thereof.
  25. The following shall be considered a material breach of the rental agreement:
Failure by the tenant, their household, or their guests to comply with the provisions of these "Stjerne Camping rental terms and conditions."
Failure to pay the services specified in the agreement on time. (However, it is a condition for claiming breach of contract that the amount due is not paid within 8 days of the demand being sent to the tenant by ordinary and registered mail. When sending a demand for payment, an additional handling fee of DKK 150 + postage will be added to the amount owed.)
The above list of what is considered a material breach is only an example and is not exhaustive.
  26. In the event of a material breach, the campsite manager is entitled to immediately expel the tenant from the campsite and terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect. If the tenant owes any amount in connection with the termination or expiry of the lease, the campsite manager reserves the right, in addition to the usual legal action, to exercise a right of retention over the tenant's caravan until the amount owed has been paid. (However, this is subject to the tenant having been requested in vain, by ordinary and registered letter with 8 days' notice, to pay the outstanding amount, collect the caravan, and clear the seasonal pitch.
As a last resort, the lessor reserves the right to tow the caravan to a public place and refer the matter to the police.
  27. Any dispute arising between the parties in connection with this agreement shall be settled by the court in Esbjerg.
  28. All amounts include 25% VAT. We reserve the right to increase VAT and other taxes.

    ‍Mobility requirements for caravans
  29. The towing equipmentmust be usable and permanently attached to the caravan.
  30. The caravan must be movable at all times. For example, anti-theft devices must not be used on the caravan's towing equipment, as the lessor must be able to move the caravan in the event of an emergency.
  31. The caravan must be fitted with functional rims and tires.
  32. Chocking the caravan's outriggers is permitted.
  33. Apart from an awning, which must be easy to remove, there must be no small or large extensions or sheltering structures made of materials such as wood, waterproof veneer, etc., which cannot be removed immediately.

    ‍Layout of unit space
  34. All screens, fences, etc. must be made of suitable textile material in natural colors. Wooden structures may not be used. The wind can be strong in Vejers and the snow heavy: therefore, always remember to check the load capacity and ensure that screens and tents are securely fastened. We recommend removing summer awnings and windbreak structures during the winter months, i.e., when the windbreak is removed, the posts or pegs used to secure it must also be removed.
  35. Pegs must not be driven more than 30 cm into the ground.
  36. Temporary and easily removable fencing for dogs is permitted when tenants are staying (overnight) at the campsite. The fencing must be completely removed (including the gate) when tenants leave the campsite.
  37. Fixed, permanent flooring is only permitted in the awning. All other "flooring" outside the awning, e.g., a mat or similar, must be removed when leaving the unit space.
  38. Antennas may only be installed if they are attached to the caravan. They must be a maximum of 1 m above the caravan. Any flagpole must be below the height of the caravan. The flag must be taken down when the tenant leaves the campsite.
  39. Passage must always be possible behind and between the seats. There must be free passage on all roads.
  40. You must stay within your own unit space, i.e. do not encroach on the road or your neighbor's space. In addition, you must comply with the fire department's requirement of a minimum distance of 3 meters to your neighbor [your belongings (caravan/awning/tool shed) are considered a unit, as are your neighbor's belongings].
  41. The unit space is kept natural, simple, and tidy: e.g., a maximum of two flower pots. These are removed during the winter months.
  42. Maintenance of own unit: Cleaning, mowing the lawn, and trimming hedges/trees to a "safe height." The landlord provides the necessary tools.
  43. Electrical cables must always be visible. This is to avoid damage from lawn tractors, hedge trimmers, shovels, or similar equipment. If electrical cables are damaged due to lack of visibility, this will not result in any compensation claims against the lessor. For example, secure the cable at a visible height using cable ties/keep it clear of the grass. Electrical cables from the caravan to the electrical box are the tenant's own responsibility.
  44. Electrical cables should be 2.5 square with 3 poles.
  45. If the landlord is forced to contact an electrician/tradesman and a fault is found in the tenant's electrical cable or caravan, etc., the tenant is responsible for the bill.
  46. Upon termination of the lease agreement, the tenant must clear the unit space. The tenant must fill in any holes, mow the grass, and trim the hedge as necessary. (See section 24)
  47. If the rules regarding maintenance and layout of the unit space are not complied with, the camp manager may charge the tenant a fee and set a deadline for rectification.
  48. After signing the contract, you are responsible for checking for any new updates to it. The latest updates are always available at www.stjernecamping/fastligger-lejebetingelser.
