New play tower - ready for play and adventure!
Jump, climb and slide - We have a new play tower donated by ISABELLAFONDEN!
Stjernecamping has a fantastic new addition to the playground: a beautiful play tower in natural materials, donated by ISABELLAFONDEN! The tower, which includes a slide and a climbing landscape, will be ready for the 2025 summer season and has already brought great joy to both the campsite and Vejers' youngest guests.
For the enjoyment of young and old alike
We send a huge thank you to ISABELLAFONDEN (founded in 1976 by Isabella's founder, Søren Odgaard), which supports projects that create great outdoor experiences throughout Denmark. Also a big thank you to Blåbjergleg, who delivered and set up the tower. We are sure it will be a popular gathering point for families with children for many years to come!
Insect hotels - continuing in the future
Every spring we invite all campers, young and old, to join us in doing something good for nature - by helping to fill up StjerneCamping's insect hotels! Many kinds of bugs seek shelter and habitat in various natural materials - and the more different materials we use, the more different insects can feel at home. Because insects play an important role in maintaining a healthy and vibrant nature - even here at home. Together we create space for buzzing life in the small spaces - and a little extra magic in our place under the stars!
What do bugs love to move into? A whole lot of different things!
🔸 Hollow rods and pieces of wood with drilled holes in different sizes are a hit with wild bees.
🔸 Moss, hair, wool and feathers are perfect for cavities - especially bumblebees benefit from insulating, soft filling.
🔸 Bark, twigs and small branches provide good hiding places for moths and other insects seeking rest.
🔸 Hay, pine cones, twigs and dry leaves are super versatile and attract many different types of bugs.
🔸 Old bricks and tiles create shady corners for ground beetles and spiders - and even serve as basking spots for lizards.
🔸 Dead wood like stumps and branches are ideal for decomposers like ground beetles, centipedes and millipedes - and also attract rare beetles like oak deer.
🌿 We have several insect hotels around the site that are still in need of a loving refill - and you can join us!
👉 S top by the reception with natural materials - anything that little winged, crawling and curious creatures would love to move into, we welcome with open arms and kisses. We'll make sure it lands where it will do the most good.

For the kids - games, animals and fun galore!
With us, there's never a dull moment! We have two playgrounds where your imagination can run wild - and let's be honest: the bouncy castle is always a hit!
In addition, kids can whizz around on mooncars and visit our small farm where the goats and rabbits are ready to welcome new friends (and maybe some extra treats - but: daffodils and other bulbous plants are poisonous to them, so we kindly ask you not to feed the animals flowers).
When the sun shines from a cloudless sky in July, we fire up the ultimate camping experience: Saturday bread baking! There's nothing better than twirling your dough around a stick and waiting impatiently for it to turn golden and delicious.
And if the weather doesn't quite cooperate, don't worry! Our cozy TV room offers games, books and lots of fun so no one has to be bored - rain or shine.

During the summer, we have a market every Friday in and around the square. It's incredibly popular and there's a great opportunity to make a good deal.
